EZX-Gateway® SAN-based Cross-Platform File Mover.

 

Responding to the needs of major customers who regularly move growing volumes of data between HP NonStop systems and mainframes in shrinking time windows, ETI-NET has developed the EZX-Gateway.  This product embodies the best features of ETI-NET’s BCOM® and BackBox® products. The EZX Gateway provides Fibre channel-based, zero latency file transfer between HP NonStop and IBM mainframes without the need for expensive network bandwidth.  Extending NonStop fundamentals of fault-tolerance and linear expandability, EZX Gateway ensures that data is reliably transferred across systems with minimum complexity and system overhead within the available time window, no matter how massive the data quantities involved.

By exploiting HP StorageWorks XPTM Disk Arrays as shared repositories for the data to be exchanged, EZX Gateway is able to construct an end-to-end transfer environment that affords new levels of performance while continuing the reliable operation and ease-of-use traditionally associated with all ETI-NET products.
