BCOM V5 TCP/IP NOW SHIPPING

  
This release contains our long anticipated TCP/IP communications capability. BCOM now runs over IP environments. But if you’re not ready to utilize IP features, you should still install this upgrade and continue to run with SNA. The BCOM V5 release contains all our latest fixes and enhancements, regardless of the communications method selected. An exciting new feature offered with BCOM V5 is called B-DUO. B-DUO allows the simultaneous utilization of both IP and SNA networking, under one password and within one BCOM license. This new feature let’s you assign both IP Client Processes and an SNA Client Processes into the same Routing Class and onto any given Remote Location, When a Request is queued to that Routing Class, either Client can process it! So if one Client is busy or down [for example, a communication link failure] then the other Client will process the Request automatically. Call us today to order your copy of BCOM V5.
