Of MAXBLKs, RUs and PIUs Starting with BCOM Version C02, the maximum size of the BCOM buffer (MAXBLK) has been increased from 4K to 16K or 32K, depending on the platform. This document describes the inter-relationship between BCOM and SNA in terms of transmission buffer sizes. For reference, basic SNA control blocks and terminology has been included in Appendix A.
